FAQ
What exactly is stick drift?
Stick drift happens when the tiny potentiometer inside a joystick wears out and starts sending false signals, your character moves on its own or your aim slips, the controller becomes useless. With traditional controllers it's not a question of if, but when.
How does TMR technology fix it?
TMR (Tunnel Magneto-Resistance) uses magnets to read joystick position without any physical contact. Nothing rubs, nothing wears down. The result of that is: zero stick drift, forever, plus sharper precision than a brand-new stock controller.
Where do the controllers come from?
We buy broken or faulty PS5 controllers from places like eBay and Facebook Marketplace, controllers people were ready to throw away. We rescue them, rebuild them, and give them a second life that's better than their first.
Why are they cheaper than a new one?
Because we start with a controller someone else gave up on. We pay less for the hardware, invest in the upgrades that actually matter, and pass the savings to you. Better product, smaller price tag.
Is this actually better for the planet?
Yes. Every Rantic controller is one less e-waste statistic. And because TMR sticks don't wear out, you won't be tossing this one in a drawer next year either.
Who is Rantic for?
Anyone who plays — casual to competitive, ages 13 to 40 and beyond. If you've ever rage-quit because of stick drift, you're our people.
